Apart from entering ATs, what use are Tournement tokens? They are the only thing you can use Balths Faction for if you are UAX.

I propose that they give Tournament tokens some other useful value (XP, Gold, Reward Points) so that pvpers, when finally UAXed can have something else to build towards. 10 Tournament tokens = 1 reward point or something like that would be good.

If not this then at least reward UAXed players with something they can spend Balths faction on!!

Balths faction title would be nice too come to think of it.

The trouble with it is that every serious pvper is, and has been, UAX for a long time, and get a lot of faction very easily. Getting RPs just wouldn't be fair, because you could get so many without ever playing a tournament, or gvg for that matter.

Tbh I'm glad they introduced it even as just a balth faction sink because it gets dull just seeing exp coming up instead of the balth faction as well.

A balth faction title would be nice, but that's been suggested loads of times before and nothing ever happens.

i say just make it so you can buy flames with your faction. 5k for a regular flame of balth and 10k for a golden. so that you can at least give faction to people who dont have the skills to run with you, so its easier to ha and we have a balth sink other than tourn tokens.

and for those of you who already spent faction on tokens there could be a trader that takes 5 tokens for a reg flame and 10 for a golden, easy as that.

Instead of the relatively low 10 Tokens, how about 100 for a Reward Point? That way somebody with FOUR stacks of the things only get 10 Points, which gives a reward, but doesn't encourage straight balth farming (really low rate of return compared to just doing a tournament or two). I personally hate Hero Battles, and am not in a good enough guild to consider AT, so even though I do a large amount of HA, RA, and TA, I'm SoL for getting Rewards.

I also agree with the Flame idea. That way we can get a monetary reward (selling in HA), help out fellow groupies with their missing skills, or get that second account tricked out. Think of it as a Star of Transference for Balthazar Faction.

If you rename them to Balthazar Tokens, you could use them to get stuff in collectors, like alcohol, sweets, etc..

10 per reward pt actually is decent, maybe a little more tokens required, like 25. If you think about it, you'd need 25k faction to get 1 reward point, and I'm pretty sure I can get that faster doing 1 HB tourney and winning 1-2 matches (or win by forfeit) against bad players even with a really bad build, so it won't be too imbal.

some use for them please, i have over 100 now and im not a serious pvp player at the mo,

i do ab hh and ra mostly but not often enough as i am slogging through pve at the mo. however i would like to upgrade my pvp character as time goes by

Something should really be done with these, after being UAX, its fair to say that we get the benefit of getting : Rewards points, Gold, ect.... This will benefit both sides that see it have a use to it, rather then entering tournys, or collecting dust in Storage. It will also be nice if there was some way of having a Mod take a look into this as a serious consideration for a future update.

I understand the amount of faction you can gain through HA but I also considered the people who use RA as their main style for PvP. It's quite hefty to make it higher then that for a mere point.

/Signed Tokens for Reward Points or at least something remotely useful. On a side note, flames of balthazar kinda suck when you're rank 12, how about if your faction cap is at max, you can't get a flame, I'd rather get 20 shitty drops for a better chance at a good one as opposed to dumbass flames.

Something else would be nice. Like being able to get flames of bathazar to give to friends as somebody else suggested.

Reward points though would make the tournaments fairly worthless to actually enter.

Going 3-3 or whatever in HB tourney can generally net you about 10-15 RP depending on how many people enter. At my proposed 25 tokens = 1 RP, that's 250-375 tokens, or 250-375k balth faction. Tournaments being fairly worthless to enter? Not really.

Sorry Shmanka, I know you suggested this a while back (coz I read the post and whole-heartedly agreed - putting it in here I thought it might actually get noticed by a dev coz they certainly don't notice anything in the pvp section...).

I just think people who are UAX but still earning Balths need some sort of a faction sink that rewards them for continuing playing GW PvP.

Reward points is probably the best way to do this and yea maybe 25 tokens per point is a little more balanced, as long as there is something else but tournement tokens I'll be happy. Could we buy tokens in multiples too? Buying 20 at a time takes forever...
